Team Ambush Alpha Squad is a professional scenario paintball team that was established in February of 2005. Team Ambush Alpha Squad is also known as Ambush Alpha, The Ambush Alpha Factory Team, and just plain Team Ambush. Ambush Alpha plays both competition scenario games and tournament style games. The team started out with several players from various high profile teams that now make up one of the most recognizable competitive scenario teams in the sport of paintball. Some players still continue to play for other teams but remain loyal to Ambush Alpha and continue to contribute to the team’s accomplishments.

Ambush Alpha made an impression on the paintball world their first season, winning several awards and accomplishing many team goals. Although the team was only established in February of 2005 they have accomplished more then most teams that have been around for many years. The team has earned many awards, appeared in an abundant of media, have hosted and promoted games, Generalled and XO'd (led) several games, has been invited to the National All Star Game, and have even appeared in the Greg Hastings video game for PS2, EMR's Castle Conquest DVD along with various magazine ads.

The team has worked long and hard to gain the respect and admiration from their fellow paintball teams that have been established for many years. Ambush Alpha is now seen in the paintball community as one of the finest teams around, with their great sportsmanship, honorable playing, charity and donations to events and causes, helping and assisting others both on and off the field, as well as being known as the go to team at games.

Because of Ambush Alpha’s high profile and reputation, the team succeeded in signing with several large sponsors in and outside the paintball industry. As the team grows the sponsorships have grown. The team expands each season along with their sponsorships. The team now consists of a traveling team that will travel the US and other countries promoting their sponsors, thanks to the support and financial backing of their sponsors.

In only three years, Ambush Alpha has appeared in over 100 magazines and various other media, has won over 30 awards, have over 15 full sponsorships, and now have fan mail from aspiring paintball players and teams. Ambush Alpha is looked upon as ambassadors of the sport and are role models to the younger players.

Ambush Alpha strives to set new standards and goals for professional scenario teams and players in the scenario paintball scene around the world. Each season Ambush Alpha attempts to accomplish a first in the scenario paintball world and set new standards for the scenario world to follow. One example is that Ambush Alpha started producing a new game format that has never been done in scenario games before. The format was so impressive, that several major game producers have adopted the rules and or formats into their own games. Another example, Ambush Alpha was the first team to ever skydive into a scenario game. A new goal has been set for 2008. Ambush Alpha plans on being the first professional scenario team to play an overseas game. These are just a few examples of what Ambush Alpha accomplished and or plans on accomplishing in the future.

Ambush Alpha has mainly played in the North East of the US in the past. However, in 2008, Ambush Alpha will have a traveling team that will be traveling to games across the US. Games are already planned for Indiana, Oklahoma, Florida, and more. Ambush Alpha will also travel outside the US in 2008. Games are planned for Canada, Finland, and or Russia.
