yeah the british skate scenes cut in many places, is it me or are the proper sponsored skaters these day so so sick there awesome, but youd never see them i go all over the place dont know where they skate but they must skate day and night, to be that good, but like the everyday skaters these days are so so shit, when i started skating there were no skateparks nothing, well unless you were prepared to get on a train and travel, there were only the street to skate, now theres skateparks in every town, which are usually inundated with kids and chavvy morons wearing track suits, and some of these kids, couldnt land a trick flatground but you see them on the ramps there awesome, ive sort of had to catch up on ramps, as i was deprived in the early days of skating just to the streets any ledge or stair set i could find, didnt mind how rough the ground was or anything, we thought we were kings of street cos we could boom are flat land tricks, no problems, get to a skatepark these days, my street eticut stylee i developed over years of street cruising and using a skate board for transport, i am slightly humbled by the degree of technicality some of these kids ride the ramps. as we know it takes years to develop your style, and street skating is a great way to do that, but i gotta admit riding ramps is an art of its own. im loving these skate plazas, an american import, there popping up everywhere, honestly never skated anything so smooth, totally radical compared to the conventional skateparks i grew up with. yeah defo the british scene is on the up along with the british skaters are ripping, its always been a constant battle with the weather and chavs not the california dream it should be, but thats what makes british skating british its like a discipline in itself. ne wayz ramble ramble ramble i could ramble on for ever but i wont. Peace Chaz

now ive had close to 15 boards in my time, and theres been a lot of discussion down the local skatepark on which boards are better stronger and better shaped, to be honest about 1/2 the boards ive had have been british, and half have been, american, i will admit me personally i prefer the american boards, i just got a santa cruz fusion board and its the best board ive ever had superior to any thing ive ever had before, ill admit when i was young and couldnt afford to buy new decks regualarly the british boards did the job well in a kind of kamikazi kind of way, dont no why but the british ones make me wanna do the big step launches, but i always found they snapped to easily and werent as strong as the american boards, this solely because i think the american brands are bigger companies whith bigger profit margins and can afford better materials, as they say tho you get what you pay for and firmly believe this when it comes to a good skateboard deck and design, although i have to say i still have a shed full of about 5 or 6 snapped in to death and panic skateboard decks and havnt chucked them away im saving them for a special occasion where i use them for firewood. but since i started skating the US decks i chilled out and havnt snapped a deck in about 7 years. i was down the skatepark the other day and the general vibe was that blueprint decks are the best decks around, id have to disagree but, maybe its just personal preference. horses for courses matey.
as for shoes my favourite shoes without a doubt are etnies low cut, im not sure if they still make them anymore i hope so, cos when these shoes are done ill buy another pair. there expensive and they dont last five minutes, but for comfort and style they are unbeatable.
