Biography

I was born in Asheboro, NC on Febuary 22, 1997. I have 2 older sisters, Rissa and Danielle. I've also got an older brother, David. I moved to Chattanooga, Tennesse when I was 4 years old. I attended kindergarden at Nolen Elementary School on Signal Mountain. We moved to Durham, Conneticut where I attended 1st grade and learned to play baseball. Then we moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada where I attended 2nd grade and learned how to snowboard at Canadian Olympic Park.

We moved back home to Tennessee for the start of my 3rd grade and I got my first Motorcycle. It was a KC 70 from Pep Boys. We again moved to Kansas City for the start of my 4th grade year. I starting playing football for Shawnee Mission East. It was really cool to tackle people and play as a team but it did not compare to the thrill of riding my motorcycle solo. I rode the wheels off my KC 70 and smoked the transmission over the next year. It was time to move up to a faster more durable dirt bike. We bought two(2) new Kawasaki KX65's. I attened a Jimmy Albertson MX School. Greg and Jimmy spent alot of time working with me to establish the basic racing fundamentals. After the school, I hired a private instructor, Rusty, who worked with me several times a week for several months. He took me to practice at Tanner Stack's track and Benny Bloss's track. I was just starting to race and Tanner and Benny were already national contenders. They made a strong, positive impression on my initial racing experience that I still carry with me from race to race.

Suddenly, we obtained a KX 85 and a Supermini (KX 100) from AJ Gearheart' family that were fast and bullet proof. I spent alot of time on the 85 and 100. Quickly, I began to favor the bigger bikes over the 65's. We were advised by many supporters that the 65's we're just too small and the bigger bikes were a better fit for racing skills development. In no time, I got (2) new KX 85'S and established my race team; AARON OKRZESIK RACING.

Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

I got a little pit bike one year and rode the wheels off of it. My parents then decided to move me up to kx65 and now 85's. I Haven't stopped riding since.

List your competitive highlights:

I just started racing this spring and have posted only a few races so far. I won at Dragoon MX Park in a Sunflower Series Race. I also got a 2nd place award at Hillbilly Hills in the Georgia Best Series Round 1. I finished 18th in my first Missouri State Race.

What are you planning for next season?

To complete 2 whole series and take home a championship.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

I finally made Honor Roll in School this year. I have been able to complete every race I started so far this year. I am thankful for having the opportunity to compete with other good racers who have been on the bikes for more than 5 years. I feel like my racing skills are developing rapidly for the time I've been riding.
