Hello, my name is Tanya Alexander. I race quads with my family at local and regional motocross events, in the LadyQuads and Women's ATV divisions.

I began riding quads as a recreational trail and dunes rider, and began racing competitively at the beginning of last season.

I placed 4th overall in the LadyQuads class at Ukiah Speedway MX last year, coming back from 12th after a mid-season crash left me healing up from a dislocated shoulder.

This year, I upgraded to a new quad, and just wrapped up a spring points series at Ukiah Speedway MX, taking 1st overall in the LadyQuads division. I also placed 2nd overall in the CMC/AMA Winter Series in the Womens' ATV class, and plan to continue racing local and regional races, events and series in the upcoming season.

My new ride is a 2008 Suzuki LTR-R450 SE. Modifications include nerf bars, kill switch, Yoshimira cherry bomb, TAG soft grips, Streamline steering stabilizer, custom rear raceplate bracket by Mercdog Motorsports, and custom race decals by Independent Streak Design.

In addition to quad racing, I am also pursing my black belt and teaching credentials in taekwondo, run a small graphic /web design studio, write freelance for several publications, and have even been known to rock the stage with bands and in stage productions ;)

I love racing quads with my husband and kids, and look forward to some well-earned podium time in the upcoming race season!
