Why do you like this sport?
I like the sport because it gives me something to do. I spend alot of time training and riding, but I enjoy it cause it is my hobby. I think it`s cool to see how much I progress each year. It seems like every year I learn new things and I keep getting faster. Basically I don`t know what I would do without this sport I love it.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
1. I have Schwin exercise bike. I put it in my race trailer cause it gets really hot inside there and I ride it for 45 minutes on the hardest level it has.
2. I use a stair stepper for 30 minutes.
3. Jumping jacks and push ups.
4. When I practice I ride Laps for 30 minutes.
I usually don`t do all of this in one day, but I either ride or exercise every day after I get done with work. But when I don`t have to work I exercise and ride.
Why do you compete?
I compete because of the pride and feeling you get when you do good in a race.
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
I don`t mind traveling, I have done plenty of it because of racing. My best road trip would be going to Oklahoma last winter. Me and five others took a semi truck and trailer. The trailer was basically just a cargo trailer nothing fancy. Inside of this trailer was some couches, full sized chevy suburban, and ten dirtbikes. The funny thing about this trip was that there was not enough room for every one to ride up front in the semi and we wanted to try and save on gas money so we put the suburban in the trailer instead of driving it. So some of us had to ride in the trailer with no heat, no lights, no windows, and it was so loud and such a rough ride in there that it was scarey. So like 2 hours into our 14 hour drive I just went and sat in the suburban cause I figured it would be the safest place to sit in the trailer. The reason I was so scared was because there was only one driver and he drove the whole drive all in one time. And in the middle of the night when I was trying to sleep I could feel the truck swerving around and I could feel and here the rumble strips on the road. So yeh it was the longest and most unplesent trip ever. But it was all worth it when we got to cooperland raceway and I got to ride my bike.
Employment / Experience Summary
1. I did concrete work for three years
2. Now I work with my dad and brother. We do excavating work. This works out better for me because I get more time to ride and train.
