This years National in Walton Ontario Canada was one of the best we have been to.No rain at all the track was in perfect condition all day every day, good thing because my 3rd moto was on the last day at like 4 o`clock.Alot of fast 65 riders filled the gate this year from all over,I think one rider was all the way from Bermuda. Seemed every moto I got caught up in the bunch at the start and couldn`t break free,2 of my moto`s I was 35/38 into corner 2.I was able to climb back up to 14/16 and that with my 12th in moto 1 put me in 14th over all.Not to bad for my first year on a 65,I still have 2 years to try and win it It was a fun learning year on my KTM 65,I look forward to racing it next year, with a little work on my starts I think I can put it on the podium next year .
I would like to thank everyone at Sponsor House and all the help we recieved here this year,I was able to race some Special Events because of all the help here.

Just return home from are anual trip to the Western Canadian Amature Nats. in Raymond Alberta.
The track was in perfect condition and the weather was great.A good turn out of riders, the fastest kids in the Western Canada where on the line.I raced the 65 7-11 class because we have no 7-9.I knew most of the riders from the years before in the 50 class and from playing around in the pits. Practice went well and this year the track was run in the oppisite direction so it was new to everyone. My first moto I got 37th gate pick,That left the far outside for the start so I knew i had to get off good,Gate dropped and I Pinned it next thing i knew I was sitting 4th,then in corner 3 the rider in front of me cross rutted and went down blocking my line.So much for a good start, tons of bikes went by on both sides of me.Thank to long moto`s I salvaged a 15th. Moto 2 went much better, although I blew my start,Dad said I was about 12-14 in the first corner, good start considering I was in 3rd OOOps.,We had a great race going on from 9th to 4th place,I worked my way up to 7th. Moto 3 I was feeling good and started to dial in the track,I knew I could get into the top 5,Start went well again 8th I think, the battle was on,alot of lines, lots of passing back and forth, great racing,I settled into 6th with 5th and 4th a wheel away at the finish. Any riders in the mid west should check this one out,Huge hardware, great track, and ice cream on site! Next race is the CMX Nationals held at Moto Park Aug 4-6 in Ontario,Another great track
Thats all for now and thank you all for your help Steven RJ Anderson

Huge turn out this weekend, over 900 entries. The track was well prepared,This was my first time racing on the main track so we dad and I thought it would be smart to try to learn the track because its BIG and going to get very rough. He was right in my first moto I got pinched at the start but was still mid pack once through the first corner. The back section has a right hand sweeper and the ruts where so much deeper than in practice kids where on the ground every where, four kid fell in the same rut I was using.Once going again things went well and I caught back up to 14th. The track continued to get more and more beat up,Alot of ambulances during the day something around 20 and one helicopter.
My second moto was real late in the day around 5pm.Agian I was only going to learn the track and keep the bike up.We have a Provincial there in a couple weeks and I was in good shap for the Nationals so i could afford to loose a few spots. The start went well for me,focused on the track and didn`t really pay attention on what place I was in.Ihad a good clean ride and to my surprise finished in 10th.
By for now Steven R.J. Anderson
Special thanks to all my sponsors!

Our first race of the season is behind us now and all the butter flies are gone.I was a little nervous being my first season on a 65 but that didn`t seem to last very long.It was nice to see all my friend at the track after such a long cold snowy winter.
I had a great week-end.My heat race started OK,comming out of the first corner in about 6th from a gate of 20,I was able to move up to 3rd quite early,I was gaining on 2nd rapidly, caught him and made a move for the inside of a 180 right,he hopped out of his rut,are bikes touched washing out my front end.It took me few second`s to pick up my bike from the deep sand and get it started and get going again.I charged hard from last and was able to work my way back up to 7th which was good enough to put me in the main.
The main event was loaded with some really fast rider from as far east as Quebec and as far north as Sudbury.I knew a good start was critical,Gopher dunes is a pure sand track with only a few passing places.
My start in the main was perfect, getting me the hole shot, from that point on I put my head down focused on the track and not the 24 other rider in hot pursuit.Paul and Lucas passed me clean then Jeffery`s,I was battling with Jon for a couple laps swapped out and he got by.I pretty much was envolved in a 4 way race for 5th,by picked a bad passing line to get around some lapper I lost 5th to Ricard in the 3rd last corner.I ended the day in 6th,still very happy with results and effort,my goal for the day was to finish in the top 10 and I did it.
Thank you to Sponsor House and all of my 2006 Sponsors
