Up and Over

This was proving to be a good day with the 410's.  I qualified 15th which isn't great, but it put me on the pole for my heat.  On the start I pulled away leaving a bit of dirt between myself and Botsford driving the other black 29 car.  Then as rapping aroud turn 3 the yellow comes out.  We had a re-start because one of the drivers thought it would be great to fly into the wall knocking downing about 30' (He was ok).  On the re-start the black 29 knew what I was going to do remembering my last start.    Lession leared for me!  He basiclly started the race moving a head of me.  Then ex-World of Outlaw driver Tim Keading driving the 10 car zipped by me on lap 2.  I was able to hold on to third place in my heat.

Started the A-main 8th row.  Holding my position and not moving any where.  On lap 8-10 (not sure).  I decided to try a new line which proved to be a mistake that ended my night into the wall and upside down.  Quickly  jumping out of my car lighting fast because fuel was leaking out.  My Crew Cheif was laughing because he said he never seen me move so fast!

Even though I went over.  I feel that running with more experience drivers makes me a better driver.  I can't wait to run next weekend at Petaluma Speedway.

Got something to say?
