Overview

How I got started

My dad used to race in the California desert so he was the one that got me hooked onto riding. All my life we have gone on trail and desert rides, until this year we started riding tracks. I know that my trail experience has really improved my all around riding skills.

Goals for the Future

Next season I am planning to race most of the WORCS series, qualify for the Ponca City, and Loreytta Lynns amatuer  nationals.  I would also like to Win the berthoud hare scramble series and recieve the Colorado State Championship for the college boy class.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

My family is definately what inspires me to compete,(especially my coach/ sponsor/ mechanic, my DAD) . The race weekends is a huge family gathering for us. Everyone gets together and has a good time and they give me all their support (that I am very grateful for) and it gets me pumped to ride. For example, my grandparents from both sides, my uncle, my aunt, my brother, and my sister have attended nearly every race.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Now that I am out of school I have been running every day any where from 6-11 miles on a mountian trail and then lifting weights 3-4 times a week! My Mom is a Health Teacher (She has been nominated for teacher of the year award), so she keeps me eating heathly and hydrated properly. I also practice everyday at a place that just has corner tracks then about twice a week on a regular track.

Competitive Highlights

My biggest accomplishments so far are qualifying for Loretta Lynn's Amatuer National in my first year of racing! Placing in the top ten at Ponca, Branson, and the Amatuer Open  motocross nationals. And winning the Berthoud Hare Scramble Series.
