Team Legacy

NBA legend and motorcycle enthusiast Michael Jordan formed Michael Jordan Motor Sports in 2004 as a result of his passion for motorcycle racing.  His missing is to bring a new level of excellence and style to the motorcycle racing industry

The Michael Jordan Motor Sports legacy begins with colors and graphics, which have personal meaning to Michael and the timeless designs of his Air Jordan shoes. Through the years, the University of North Carolina, the Olympic Games and releases of the 20th Anniversary Air Jordan, the Air Jordan Retro 4 and the latest Air Jordan XXIII (23) shoe provide the sole of the Michael Jordan Motor Sports legacy. They all help tell the story of our racing team…

In 2008, the Jordan Suzuki team looks to be strong podium contenders in the AMA Superstock Championship series. However, with the assistance of many, including Gemini Racing, our AMA Superbike program is steadily improving.  Last season, Yates led the charge and earned three podium finishes!!  An accompishment rarely achieved by a satellite / privateer (non-factory) team such as Jordan Suzuki.

We hope you'll join us for the ride!  One look and you'll be hooked!!!

Keeping the momentum going, the following weekend at California Speedway, Fontana California Holden and Yates finished the AMA Superstock race second and third respectively.

At Infineon Raceway in Sonoma California, Yates proved that the Jordan Suzuki Superbike program is a contender in the AMA Championship series when he earned a front row start in the premium class.
