Hello sponsors and freinds, the season is starting and I think it would be great if we all shared some of our break through training tips. I've noticed if I do a ton of cross training, mountain biking, trail running, downhill and street free riding, that my work outs are funner, my legs are stronger, and i get burned out less. provided I don't crash gapping stairs at the local campus. What have you guys got? Anything for the pre-race emergency rush to the bathroom? Train like you want to race! Later.

Why I am the way I am.

What inspires you to compete?

I really love the competition. I strive to better my times from race to race, and to make sure I stay up with my main competitors. I think it's amazing to be at this level of fitness and be surrounded by so many driven people that sacrifice so much for their sport.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

This last year? out of the top ten things i do while running around in my short shorts, I would have to say my only crash of the year. It was the second lap of the St. George race and I crashed right in front of the crowd at the turn around, knocked the rear wheel off, nearly skidded under a truck, threw out my entire vocabulary of explatives, put the wheel back in, gave it a spin. And finished the race...3rd overall(2nd only beat me by a second!)

Music?

Hey, just about anything, no Opera, or country except the girls. Alternative, techno, anything playing on KRCL 90.9. the music is very diverse and always worth hearing.

Why do you like this sport?

I'm always impressed by the people I see racing, the way they have trained their bodies, the different ages, the older people I admire the most, they give me something to strive for. Lifetime fitness!

Describe your style...

I'm very focused and quiet, I sit in the pack, choose my main competitors and watch their pace before I blaze past them at full speed and never look back.
