The greatest thing about competing is getting the opportunity to learn from others. The only way to get faster is to ride with people who are faster.
Thunder in the Sand, Wildwood New Jersey 07. I was third in my moto when I bottomed out in a rut and watched the whole field ride right by.
Running has become a foundation of my training. I also spend time weight training, and mountain biking. I get out and practice on the quad at local tracks whenever possible. Riding in local pits, and local woods take up the rest of my riding time.
Right now I am listening to some of the classic punk rock icons. Bad religion, Social distortion, and Henry Rollins. I am also mixing in a bunch of new hip hop like 50 cent and Kanye.
I would have to call my style smooth and fast. I try not to fight the quad too much, the quad lets me know how fast to go.
