How I got started
I first began riding at the age of 14 on a 1995 cr125. What began as jumping a dirt pile grew into a full blown obsession that naturally led to racing and newer bikes. I started racing the beginner class and barely finished my first race. However I was hooked for life. This led to a strong desire to ride and race every time it was possible. . For short, if it made me faster, I would do it without thinking twice. Then came the C class which I competed in 6 years ago and went from the very bottom to the very top, winning almost every race for the last 3 months of the year, including the Ft. Worth, TX arenacross main on my RM250 against 42 riders. The next season I began in the B class again at the very back of the pack, but hard work made me a consistent top 3 finisher and frequent winner. I also then went on to qualify for Lorretta`s, where I came in 34th overall on my first trip there in the 250 B stock class. I then moved up to the A class for 2005 and raced mostly local events, and also the Branson Amateur National, placing top ten in both A classes. For 2006, I attainted my pro license, and I again qualified for Loretta Lynns where i had a tough week going 38th in the 250 Open A Prosport class.. After that we attended Branson`s Amateur National, and then we attended the Spring Classic at Lake Whitney for the opening round of the amateur national season, where I ran the 125A and 250A clases. Aside from the good results I put in however, I`ve learned alot of the ins and outs of larger races and deeper competition, and I feel that I have vastly improved my entire program as far as exhibiting professional representation of myself and my sponsors on and off the track.
